Christopher Dean Ericksen, 52 passed away at his home on October 19, 2014, with his loving sister, his Brother- in -law and his best friend of 40 years at his side.Chris was born April 18, 1962 in Seattle Washington, his family moved away from Vashon and returned for Chris's eighth grade year. He was a member of the Vashon High School graduating class of 1980. Chris owned and operated Ericksen Construction.Chris was a member of the Vashon Sportsman's Club.Chris will be remembered as an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening; as well as his sharp wit, great sense of humor and his ability to tell it like it was.

Chris is survived by his Mother Carolyn Kramps, his Sister Kelly VanBuskirk , Brother-in-law Chris VanBuskirk, his Niece Shelby (Phillip) Middling , his Nephew MitchellVanBuskirk and Great Nieces Makenaand Layla, as well as a large extended Family and many Friends.

The loving care offered by his family, friends, Hospice and Vashon Fire and Rescue made it possible for Chris to remain in his home on the property he loved so much.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday November 29, 2014 from 5pm to 10pm at the Vashon Sportsman's Club.This will be a potluck event so please bring a dish to share and some good stories about Chris. Service postponed.
