Diane Ellingsen passed away at her home in Seattle on July 11, 2019. Diane was born on August 6, 1954 in Seattle. She graduated from Mt. Rainier High School, in Des Moines, WA, and spent her summers on Vashon Island at the family cabin there. Diane was a very quiet person who enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. Her happiest times were spent on Ober Beach with the community who shared summers there or with animals. Horses were her greatest passion and she fulfilled this joy when she finally owned her own horse, Lady Di, and she also worked for a time on an Arabian Horse Ranch.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Karl and Mary Ann Ellingsen, and her oldest brother, Doug Ellingsen. She is survived by her brother Jerry Ellingsen (Pam), sister Susan Stinson (Scott) and nieces and nephews Aimee Wisener, Kelsey Stinson, Tanner Stinson and Brady Stinson.
