Donna lost her third bout with cancer on December 1st in her Vashon home with her family by her side.

Born February 7, 1946 Donna was 64 and a third generation Islander. Survived by her husband of 45 years, George Endlich, brother Ole Olsen Jr. and his wife Crispin, son Warren Endlich and his wife Kim, and son Geoff Endlich. Preceding her were her Mother, Viola Olsen, Father Ole Olsen Sr., and sister Rose Siegrist.

Donna went to Lee Beauty School after graduating from Vashon High School, but became a housewife and homemaker. She spent a few years working at Vashon Thriftway's Deli and cleaning homes. Donna was a gracious host and an avid boater, but the biggest loves of her life were her gardening, sewing, hersix grandchildren, Justin, Jared, Kennedy, Bryson, Tucker and Alyssa and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Donna was a Mother of two, but a Mom to many.

"Mom was a patient cornerstone of our lives. She was patient when Dad was building his boats, but had no patience when our water fights ended up in the house with the garden hose because that's where Dad was trying to hide."

A Memorial Service will be held at the Presbyterian Church Saturday, December 18th at 11 a.m.
