Obituary

Dorothy Marie Jackson, a Didricksen, a Norwegian, and longtime resident of Vashon Island peacefully passed away on Wednesday September 23 at Highline medical center at 2:12 pm with her 2 daughters by her side. She is the last of the Didricksen siblings, and will be missed dearly.

Dorothy was born on February 1 1935 on Vashon Island, WA to Nils and Anna Didricksen five minutes before her twin sister Doris.

After her divorce she moved to Edmonds Wa where she resided with her twin sister, and Jan Bosworth her brother in law. When Jan passed away Dorothy, and Doris moved back to Vashon Island to raise Doris's two Granddaughters, Cassie, and Shalise.

We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from the twins. Among them was to make the worlds best red velvet cake, to be stubborn, and honest, and that cats are the best animals, but most of all how to love unconditionally.

She leaves behind a large loving family, and friends Two daughters Diane Nelson, and her husband (Jim), Debra Stone, Son Robert Jackson, and former daughter in law Marjean Thirteen Grandchildren Jessica, and Heidi Nelson, Amy Clark, Crystal Irish, Chris Nelson, Jeremy & Tyson Stone, Brittany, and Cody Jackson, Shalise Mealey Cassie Bosworth, Laurie Bosworth, and her Son Danny, Eleven Great Grandchildren Dylan Creedon, Hanna Nelson, Travis, Tyler, and Elsie Eller, Miyaeva, Konen, Kyran, Nora Irish, and Quinn, and Lincoln Clark
