September 19, 1936 - October 5, 2021

Frank Lund, husband, father, grandfather passed away peacefully in his sleep, at the age of 85, on October 5, 2021. He was born on September 19, 1936 in Slayton, Minnesota to Severt and Lena Lund.

After completing his education, Frank enlisted in the US Army. While stationed at Fort Lewis, he met Donna Rae Brown. They were married on November 11, 1961 and later moved to Vashon, where they lived for over 50 years. During that time, Frank worked at K2 and also was a volunteer fireman and a sewer commissioner.

Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Donna. He is survived by his son Tony; daughter Mary Rosenow and her husband Todd; two grandchildren: grandson Jacob Rosenow and granddaughter Erica Rosenow. He is also survived by his canine companion, Lucy.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Vashon Island Funeral home at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Frank's name to Vashon Maury Community Food Bank, Vashon Island Fire and Rescue, or the Make a Wish Foundation.
