Kim Knott, age 65, passed away on October 7th after a brief battle with cancer. She was born January 16th, 1955 in Lafayette Illinois to Gerald and Geraldine Barmann. After moving to Vashon Island, she met her husband Walter Knott who preceded her in death in 2012.

Kim loved people and caring for others. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, bowling, traveling, and caring for her four-legged K9 companions. Kim was also a dedicated mother and very hard worker.

In 2017, Kim reconnected with her high-school sweetheart Ole Olsen. Together, they created a life together in Valley Washington. Kim and Ole enjoyed taking in the mountain views, birdwatching while figuring out ways to keep the chipmunks away, watching sunsets, and caring for their two springer spaniels on the ten acres they lived on.

Kim is survived by her one daughter Kristy Knott, her sister Sheryl Braile, boyfriend Ole Olsen, brother in law Bruce Church, and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Knott, parents, Gerald and Geraldine Barmann, and sister, Phyllis Church.

Services are being postponed until next summer due to COVID, but we will always carry her loving memory in our hearts.
