Larry was born on December 7, 1950 in Gregory, South Dakota to Laurence (Joe) and Bethene (Ellston) Laur.He was the second of eight children.

The family moved to Washington in 1968, where Larry graduated from The Renton High School in 1969.He enjoyed reading, watching baseball, hunting and spending his time outdoors.

His Father Joe Laur preceded him in death.His Mother Bethene Schmidt, Step Father Eddie Schmidt, sisters Sandi Tayloy, Cindy English, and brothers Rick, Doug, Tim Michael and Dan survive Larry.

At Larry's request no services will be held.
