Thank you to everyone who has reached out and offered love and support.

Join family and friends at Vashon Island Books (old VFW Hall) on Saturday, November 28th, for an evening of shared love, remembrances and food to honor the life and legacy of Maryam.

We will have a brief service where a few people will be invited to share stories and art honoring Maryam. After which people will be invited to hangout, eat food, and share with each other any stories of Maryam. If you would like to bring a note or other object there will be both a public alter in which to place it and a private box which will be burned at home.

We are looking for a few folks to help with logistical coordination and to help with set up/clean up day of. If you are available and would like to help please email me at elisteffen@gmail.com.

Where: Vashon Island Books (old VFW Hall)

Bring: Please being some food or drink to share. Please don't stress about this, your presence is most important.
