Michael Scott Chwaszczewski, beloved father, son, brother, and husband passed away on Friday, 14 June 2019, Flag Day. He was born on 28 April 1966 in Bremerton, WA. He was 53 years old.

He is survived by his son Cody Chwaszczewski and daughter Becky Mehringer; his brothers Kenny and Max, parents Rich and Beth, and Dee, Jennifer, and Betsy.

Mike graduated from Vashon High School, enlisted in the Navy, served as an engine man on the carrier Forrestal during operations in the Gulf of Sidra. He crossed Gaddafi's "line of death."

Mike was a jack-of-all-trades. He could fix, repair, paint, or build anything. He had to…he took everything apart.

Mike coached baseball from his home in Milton and enjoyed Mariners collectibles. He was an avid Harley-Davidson fan.

The family plans a personal, private time to remember and celebrate Mike's life.
