Molly Elizabeth Adams was born May 5th, 1982, and passed away on December 29th, 2015. Daughter of Gary and Deborah Adams, Molly was born in Seattle and raised on Vashon Island. She attended island public schools and graduated from Vashon High School in 2000. After graduation she attended Tacoma Community College.
Molly had a lifelong love and passion for animals. She was proud of her association with Guide Dogs for the Blind. She raised and co-raised nine puppies for the island chapter Eyes of the Future. She was a member of Washington Akita Group, where she volunteered to foster rescued and orphaned Akitas. She was also a member of Vashon Island Pet Protectors and assisted with fostering and care of rescued cats and dogs.
Molly was known for her infectious laugh, her boundless energy and her positive spirit. She had quite the tribe of friends and acquaintances on the island.
Molly is survived by her parents Gary and Deborah Adams, her sister Megan Adams Bianchi, niece Grace Bianchi and nephew Johnny Bianchi, aunts and uncles Linda and Terry Trakselis, Joette Monroe, Jim and Cathy Adams, and Karen Walcott as well as numerous cousins.
Molly will be truly missed but never forgotten. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday February 13, 2016 at 1pm at the Bethel Church, reception to follow.
Donations in Molly's name can be sent to Eyes of the Future/Guide Dogs for the Blind in care of Vashon High School.
