Patricia Ann Tetwiler, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2013, after a long battle with cancer. She was 77 years old.

Patricia was born December 23, 1935 in Rock Island Illinois. She and her family moved to Vashon when she was eight years old. She went on to graduate from Vashon High School in 1955. She then went to work for Boeing.

She fell in love and married her soul mate Harold Tetwiler in 1957 and they were together until his passing in 1995.

They traveled together and lived in many locations until returning to Vashon in 1969. When Harold retired they moved to Clarkston Washington until he passed in 1995. She moved back home to Vashon to be with her family shortly thereafter.

Patricia loved to garden and always had beautiful flowers everywhere she lived. She loved the outdoors and the sun on her face. She walked all the time and many people knew her because of her walking all over town. She also loved to play bingo it was one of her favorite activities.

She was very family minded she loved us and we all loved her. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her daughter Terrisa Anderson and son-in-law Carey Anderson, Grandchildren Devin Anderson and her FiancAC. Kevin Forgie and Jacob Tetwiler. Her sister Shirley Lyon and sister-in-law Patty gates. Nieces and nephews Jerryand LauraLyon and their children Chris and Abby. Debbie Ray and her daughter Lisa Irons and her daughter Alexis. Linda Barr and her son John Rogers and his daughter Samantha Rogers. Donald Pearson and daughters Marisa and Libby Pearson and Missy's daughter Julian. There are many others too numerous to count.

Patricia's parents "Dutch" and "Ma" Gates passed earlier as did her brothers Bill and dick Vehemier and Larry gates.

At her request no services will be held. Donations in her name can be made to the American Cancer Society.
