Rise Robinett died in Auburn Wa. on Feb 20th. She had been suffering from breast cancer. Rise was born in Plattsburg N.Y. on June 20th 1962. She moved to Vashon Island with her family at the age of 5. Rise flourished on Vashon, and was a member of the VHS class of 1980. She has lived in Seattle for the last 12 years.Rise's mother, Jacqueline Foulds, and her father, Don Robinett, preceded her in death. She is survived by her brother Greg Vernoy and sister Donna Robinett of Seattle and her sister Thea Vernoy of Vashon. She is also mourned by her stepfather Tom Foulds and many extended family members around Vashon and Seattle and in Calfornia and Oklahoma. She will be missed by her loved ones, her classmates, and many friends.A family graveside service was held at Vashon Cemetery on March 7th. There will be a Memorial Service at Emmanuel Lutheran Church at 1215 Thomas St. in Seattle on Thursday March 18th at 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
