Olga Mandy Roncevich Spaulding passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020. She had just turned 92 on the 20th.
Mother’s parents – Tony & Mandy Roncevich – owned acres of berries – gooseberries, raspberries & currants. She was so proud of the hard work she did on the farm. Mom loved Dockton & always talked about the happy times growing up.
Mother was a strong woman with a smile for everyone. She loved to laugh and dance. One of the things that my father, Jack Spaulding (he passed away 1997), loved about her was her happiness. No matter where she went mother always made a friend.
There were some tough times for mother but she came through those with a sparkle and smile. She was smart, sassy and stubborn – she is so missed by everyone.
Mother loved her family. She is survived by her children Gloria Nelson of Spokane, Gordon and daughter-in-law Linda Nelson of Houston, TX, Lorie Steele and partner Patrick Martinez of Des Moines, WA and Ken Spaulding & Anne, Phoenix, AZ.
Her grandchildren Jason Bopp and wife Heather; Kelly Hennington and husband Jason; Jeff Nelson and wife Kelsey; Kim Conover and husband Chris; Olivia Martini and husband Josh. Her great-grandchildren Emily and Caleb Bopp, Averie Martini, Kate & Jade Hennington, Tom Conovor survive her. Additional survivors are her sisters MaryAnn Long of Huntington Beach CA and Kathy Reifers of Bellevue.
Grave-side service will be 2:00PM Saturday, December 12th at Vashon Island Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Vashon Murray Community Food Bank are much appreciated.
